40th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon

Middlethorpe Hall & Spa are celebrating their 40th Anniversary since the opening as a hotel. Celebrate with us and enjoy a very special luncheon created and prepared by Head Chef Ashley Binder and his team in this magnificent, historic National Trust house. The four-course menu will reflect on the four decades while capturing the essence of the season using the finest of locally sourced ingredients, including seasonal produce from the gardens at Middlethorpe Hall.

Middlethorpe Hall was rescued from decay in 1984, and the restoration, conservation and conversion into a country house hotel has been carried out to exacting and historically accurate standards. It has been elegantly decorated in the manner of the 18th Century and furnished with antiques and fine paintings, so that its look and ambiance is that of a well-kept, well-furnished private manor house.

Arrive for a Bucks Fizz Reception, followed by the special four-course "Luncheon through four Decades" with accompanying wines, and finishing with coffee and fudge. York's Celebration Singers will perform a music and songs from the four decades to celebrate this special anniversary at intervals during the lunch.
