A relaxed workshop designed to help you capture beautiful, natural photos using your smartphone. The morning includes practical instruction and tips, with the afternoon free for personal practice in the hotel and gardens.

9:00am - Arrival & Welcome Coffee/tea
9:30am - Understanding Your Smartphone Camera

  • Introduction to essential camera functions (exposure, focus, colour balance)
  • Tips for capturing indoor and outdoor scenes with natural lighting
  • Composition techniques: rule of thirds, leading lines & framing

10:45am - Hands-On Practice (in the gardens, weather permitting)

  • Guided tuition using smartphones to photograph garden details and floral features
  • Capturing natural, engaging portraits

12:00pm - Image Review & Simple Editing (Barlow Room)

  • Group review with constructive feedback
  • Quick editing techniques to enhance smartphone photos
  • Q&A session and tips for continued improvement

1:00pm - Relax over a two-course Luncheon served with wine, and coffee/tea to finish
